Our first project of the year involved every student, Pre-K - 6th grade. Each student drew a self-portrait. This is our "Lusk Elementary Family Tree"! 2022

Can you please explain the 6th grade line design with pattern? How does it using the7 habits? Synergize? How did you have the students do this? Thank you!!!
ReplyDeleteThe students created the artwork using many habits including Synergy. They had to work as a team to decide what the line was going to say. The top picture says "art" the bottom says "class of 2020". Each black and white line (the text) had to line up with the one next to it. They had to use 6 kinds of lines to create patterns that created varity, but also created unity-they chose similar colors and connected the artwork with the small white lines. The had to "Begin with the end in Mind""- have a plan, and there was a lot of "Think win-win" -decisions had to be made for the good of the group without sacrificing creativity. They also completed a self reflection about what habits were essential for the project.
